Monica L. Ball, Founder/CEO of Real Talk With Monica & Rising Towards Success, is excited to bring back the "2nd Annual Helping Our Community" event on Saturday, September 25th, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Dorey Park, located at 2999 Darbytown Road, Henrico, Virginia 23231.
This year's event theme, "Let's Unite and Give Back," is sponsored by Dominion Energy along with another host of sponsors and community partners. The event is free to the public to attend which will have a variety of speakers to include the Sickle Cell Association of Richmond-Oscar, Living With Sickle Cell Inc. - please note: September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month, provide safe family/kids activities, petting zoo by Teeny Tiny Farm, "Infamous Mascot Battle off Contest," music by B-Sounds ADHA Bandit, a special performance by Nate Morgan ' The Mime', The Precision Step Team, Mental Health Panel Discussion hosted by Angela Rowe, and a limited number of food and retail vendors.
